Mitochondrial Physiology - from Organelle to Organism

Den 17. - 21. august 2015 bliver dørene slået op for en sommerskole med et flot program med talere fra hele verden.

Program

-Forelæsninger og master classes ved erfarne forskere i Mitochondrial Physiology.

-Work-shops (parallelsessioner og deltagende“hands-on”):
• Mitochondrial imaging
• Mitochondrial respiration and ROS production in permeabilized
human muscle fibers
• Mitochondrial respiration in human subcutaneous adipose tissue
• Mitochondrial respiration in cells
• Mitochondrial respiration of circulating human blood cells
• Measurement of ATP production in human skeletal muscle
samples
• Isolation of human skeletal muscle mitochondria

-Udstyr og metoder: High resolution respirometry Oxygraph 2k (Oroboros Instruments), XF technology (Seahorse Bioscience), fluorometry, confocal and super resolution microscopy etc.

-De deltagende studerende laver guidede poster-præsentationer.

Der vil være 2-3 timers frirum om eftermiddagen, hvorefter der vil være sociale arrangementer om aftenen.
